I just got an email that someone nominated I Heart Saving Money for the Divine Caroline Love This Site Award!  I am just so tickled!!  This site always seems to be the little sister to I Heart Publix but I have to say that I just love posting deals from all the other stores!  So a huge Thank You to whoever nominated the site—it really made my day!!

Email Subscription Issues

I am sure many of you have seen my post over at I Heart Publix regarding the email subscription issues.  Well to avoid a similar issue I have disabled my current subscription widget here too.  I am so sorry to say that I don’t have a way to move any of you existing subscribers to the new format

I am not a computer pro at ALL and have had to learn everything as I go–so I am going to have to apologize to you all and chalk it up to a lesson learned the hard way!

I do have good news–if you want to get updates via email all you will need to do is go to the top of the site and on the right side next to the RSS feed icon you can click the ENVELOPE with “by email” to subscribe via email! 

I am so sorry for all the confusion and really appreciate you guys being patient with me!

A Bit Of News

Valerie has talked me into it again   I am going to be a guest on her new show!  I am very excited… but a little nervous since this will be my first live appearance.  This Sunday (July 26) I am going to appear on the 11Alive Weekend Morning News with Valerie Hoff . 

This is a new show that I am VERY excited about!  The show will air every Saturday and Sunday from 9 am – 10am on NBC here in Atlanta.  The show will have all the latest news plus weekend events,  LOTS of money saving tips and a whole lot more!  You will even be able to chat online throughout the show if you have any questions or comments. 

I am going to be sharing the top deals for the week.  Of course I won’t be able to cover everything in a short amount of time…so I have decided to add a new weekly addition that will appear every Sunday. I am going to try to highlight all the “Can’t Miss Deals” of the week!  I will try my best to cover grocery stores, drug stores, online stores, restaurants and really anywhere I find a really good deal!  I will plan to have the 1st post correspond with my appearance this weekend!
