Kmart Super Doubles Starting 7/25

I got an email that Kmart will be doubling coupons again…this time they are only doubling the first five coupons up to 99¢!  There is only one store in Georgia participating so I will not be taking part in this one.   The super double events seem to be going downhill–first they limit the number of coupons, then they limit them to a particular section and now they are decreasing the value.  Oh well it was fun while it lasted!

Ok, so I was bored yesterday and decided to give the Kmart Super Doubles a try.  I was right in that it was a bit of a disaster as I ended up waiting almost 25 minutes for the cashiers to figure out why my $10 coupon for purchasing $35 of P&G products did not print!!  I was well over the $35 requirement…eventually we just started adding items… once I added another 75¢ (after coupons) out printed the $10  coupon?? WHO KNOWS!! 

Well there were a ton of mistakes made and they ended up in my favor but I am not exactly sure what happened since they kept my first receipt.  Whatever happened I ended up with a bunch of Pampers Wipes and shaving cream for pretty much nothing!!

Kmart Coupon Heads Up

I am sure you all are not surprised that the $10 off $20 Kmart coupon I posted yesterday has now been modified so that it only applies to specific stores in NY.  There are reports all over the blogosphere and forums that many stores are no longer honoring this coupon. Just thought I would give you all a heads up in case you had plans to use the coupon…you might be met with a big fat  “no” at your store.

You know sometimes I wonder about the marketing folks for these big companies…

Kmart Super Doubles Starting 4/4

You know I heard the mention of Kmart Super Doubles and made a mental note to put up a reminder.  I just assumed this round of super doubles would be like the rest and us folks in metro Atlanta would be left out…BUT NO!!  Tonya forwarded me an email from Kmart corporate indicating that Georgia will be included this time!! Woo Hoo!!

Now I admit that I only shop at Kmart occasionally but I am thinking that I might have to do a round of super doubles to see what I can snag for super cheap!  The email Tonya received included the rules so here is what you will expect if you are hitting Super Doubles too:

This event is for select participating Kmart locations
from 04/04/10 to 04/10/10. All Georgia Kmart stores will be
participating.

The rules for this event are:

-Manufacturer Coupons up to and including $2 Value are doubled

-Does not include Kmart Store Coupons

-Does not include Kmart Pharmacy Store Coupons

-Limit 5 total coupons per customer per day

I think the 5 coupons total is a bit crazy …but if you live fairly close to a Kmart or have multiple stores in your area you might be able to make this event work for you I have to pass Kmart on the way to my son’s preschool and since he goes twice per week I am thinking I could swing by those two days! We still have plenty of time to get our coupons ready so if you know a good deal pass it on and I will get a list started so we will be ready on April 4th!
