Spring Shopping For Less At Kohl’s + A $100 Kohl’s Gift Card For One Reader!

The folks at Kohl’s gave me $100 Kohl’s gift card to spend. I recently got a great new pair of sandals so I was on a mission to grab some fun spring clothes. Here in Atlanta, the weather has been beautiful so I am ready to put up my sweaters and bring out the capris!
I’ll admit, I usually go to Kohl’s for the boys but haven’t spent a ton of time shopping in the women’s section. I was delighted to see that they had a ton of options. Great styles in lots of colors and sizes. I went in for a new look and walked out with several new looks!
I am one of those people who like to see an item and not have to jump through hoops to find my size. Kohl’s has everything set up so you can see all that is available then quickly sift through to find your size. No need to have to rummage through tons of overstuffed racks looking for that elusive size. I was also thrilled to see a couple of outfit ideas on the mannequins. Sometimes, I like to get ideas on fun looks.
I went a little crazy shopping –I just couldn’t stop at $100. I ended up spending right over $200 and drumroll please….I saved over $140.08!! I got THREE pairs of capris and SIX shirts –PLUS I got back $40 in Kohl’s cash that I used to get my little one some new shoes! The sales were phenomenal and I really felt like I got some fantastic deals for the money! My favorite outfit is the one above…doesn’t that pretty pink just scream spring?
Fingers crossed the weather stays nice, I am ready to strut around in all my new clothes!

MyCouponKeeper Coupon Organizer System Review and Giveaway

I have been couponing for a number of years now and I like to think that I’ve got a good system for saving. One of the biggest reasons I’m able to keep it all together and save a lot is the organization system that I use.
Unlike many couponers, I don’t use a binder – I use a box I went through just about every storage method that you can think of – binders, baseball card holders, zip folders, plastic pouches…seriously I tried everything. Brandi from over at MyCouponKeeper emailed a couple years back and asked if I wanted to try her system. I was fed up with my binder and agreed to give it a go. I’ve used a MyCouponKeeper box ever since!
I love this system because the box is nice and sturdy. It comes with plenty of pre-printed labels for the thick sturdy dividers so you can quickly find your category and coupon. Everything is a very nice quality – it will last! – and fits perfectly in the front of the shopping cart.
The system also comes with a take to store purse size folder which I think is a great idea. Basically, you put the coupons you intend to use on the left side of the binder then move the ones you will definitely be use to the right side to present to the cashier!!
One of my favorite parts of the system is the removable insert boxes that you get as well. You can use these to gather the coupons for your shopping trip. Then you can just pull out what you need and pop all the coupons in the small box for easy access.
I really do love this system. I think it is very easy to use. I love the tabbed dividers and how it allows for quick access to your categories. The hardest part is keeping the box filled – and you guys know I have a TON of coupons 
. I usually only have the left side filled with coupons and use the right side to hold the coupons for my trip. Honestly I love all the extra space!

Mercer Mayer’s Birthday Celebration – Free eCards, Activity Sheets & Win A Free Autographed Book

Can you believe that the holidays are HERE?! Wow, it seems like November just flew by. December is really a time of celebration. To be with family and to celebrate a special someone’s birthday! That’s right, a someone special will be celebrating a birthday very soon!

Mercer Mayer has published over 300 books using a wide range of illustrative styles, although he is probably best known for his Little Critter® and Little Monster series of books. My boys love these books! We are actually pretty excited for the new app.

Famous Footwear – Voices Of Victory Campaign + A $50 Gift Card Giveaway!

Famous Footwear has launched its Voices of Victory campaign.
Have you heard of this? It actually lets us create a FREE singing holiday greeting card to share with friends and family. It’s super easy and kinda fun to do.
And the best part is that you will then add your names to Famous Footwear’s large greeting card. Famous Footwear is trying to break the Guinness World Record for the most contributions to a greeting card! If the record is broken, Famous Footwear will donate $10,000 to the March of Dimes. So, you get to send someone a smile and help break a World Record, and help with a great donation to March of Dimes! How cool is that?!
Famous Footwear created the Voices of Victory campaign to help bring families and communities together during the season of giving. Sending out greeting cards is a favorite family pastime and this is a quick, easy and free way to do so!
To make your card just head to Famous Footwear’s Facebook page and click on the Voices of Victory tab. You can create as many singing cards as you’d like, but your greeting will only be added to the Guinness World Record list once. If you are on Twitter – help spread the word by using the hashtag #myvictory!
In addition to sending a FREE card, you will also receive a coupon for joining in on the fun and the chance to win a $100 gift card that Famous Footwear will give away each week. I have some lucky readers – I hope you guys win!
