Nielsen Home Scan Consumer Panel is looking for new sign ups.  I did this for a long time and my son loved to use the scanner when we got home from the store.  I stopped once the sites started taking up my time and every once in a while my son asks if he can be the scanner again!  You earn points for participation which you can redeem for all kinds of prizes.

I recommend taking advantage of the FREE rewards programs associated with your debit cards.  Make sure you read the requirements as often only certain purchases may be eligible.  For example, my bank only gives me points when I use my debit card as a credit card not when I use my pin.  So, whenever I am given the choice I ALWAYS choose credit…I want those points!  Last year I had enough points for several gift cards. I save them up and use them to cover the cost of Christmas presents!
