Giveaway: $25 McDonald’s Arch Card – Atlanta Folks Try The New Mighty Wings

All my fellow Atlanta folks, I have great news! This summer, Atlanta area McDonald’s restaurants are serving up a new menu item – Mighty Wings. If you have a fan of chicken wings at your house, they are going to love the new crispy, crunchy, spicy, bone-in chicken wings that are big and meaty.

Right now you can head in to any Atlanta area McDonald’s restaurants to pick up some wings. We are the lucky ones as Atlanta will be the only market in the U.S. to offer Mighty Wings in 2012.

I had the opportunity to pop in to McDonald’s over the weekend to check them out. Mighty Wings are available in three, five and 10 piece options that can be enjoyed by themselves or paired with fries and a beverage as part of an extra value meal. I went with a three piece and a smoothie. My husband opted for the five piece meal.

The wings were huge…I mean gigantic. I wavered back and forth between getting the three piece and the five piece. The three piece was plenty for lunch. Seriously those were the biggest wings I have ever had. They were very good – just enough spice. I like spicy food but not when the food is so spicy you can’t taste the flavor…this was a good balance.

Now, I am not a condiment person. My husband on the other hand puts some kind of sauce on pretty much everything he eats. Mighty Wings are offered with an array of sauces so you flavor them any way you want. Sauces include: Creamy Ranch, Spicy Buffalo and Tangy BarBeQue. My husband went with the ranch and said they were “tasty”. He said he would definitely eat them again.

You guys better hurry and grab yours! Mighty Wings will be available in all Atlanta area McDonald’s restaurants for a suggested price of $2.99 while supplies last.
