Readers may want to be cautious with these types of deals at KMart. I recently made a $25 purchase (before coupons) for which I was to received $5 in Shop Your Way Rewards. When the reward never showed up in my account, I contacted KMart by telephone. They told me that the dollar amount AFTER coupons is what they go by. This may also be the case for a scenario like that above. They also only pay rewards on the after coupon dollar amount spent, which I find outrageous. I sent up a follow-up email to let them know that coupons are a method of payment and that couponers like me are being penalized for using coupons. They replied that this is their policy and there is nothing they can (or intend) do about it.
