I need a little help understanding what went wrong with my Target shopping trip today.
I had a $3 off coupon for 1 package of Schick disposable razors and there was a peel off coupon for $1 off for one package of razors on each package of razors. I saw that Target was offering a $5 Target gift card with the purchase of two packages of razors. The 3 pack of razors were $5.49 each for a total of $10.98. When I got to the register I peeled off one of the peel off coupons and gave it and one of my $3 off coupons to the cashier, but she said that all she could give me was $0.98 off using the $3 off coupon and the peel off I could not use. She called over a manager when I told her I wanted to know why I wasn’t being given the entire $3 off and the $1 off since I was only using two coupons for two packages of razors. They talked amongst themselves and tried scanning the coupons, but couldn’t get the register to accept the two manufacturers coupons. After 20 minutes of going back and forth over why it wasn’t working I ended up paying $15.98 for the two packages. On the receipt it shows $5.49 x 2 plus $5 for GC then they deducted the $5 GC and I ended up paying $10.41 with tax. I just don’t understand why they couldn’t scan the two coupons and only gave me $0.98 for a $3 off coupon. I feel like I was ripped off $2.02 for the $3 off coupon they took from me and then I have an orphan $1 off peelie. Thank you
