Angie over at Fun And Frugal Moms emailed to let me know the Playsaver coupons are back!! You might want to print the My Little Pony BOGO coupon as they are the Deal of the Day at Toys R Us tomorrow (3/31)
You should be able to score two FREE ponies!! Since they are on sale for BOGO –the store sale will cover the cost of one and the BOGO coupon will cover the cost of the other!!!

I called my Toy R us and thy said it was only one promo at a time o you couldn’t use the coupons:(

I went to my TRU store and the cust. service rep. said they would not take coupons on deal of the day–but… he said he would take one of the $5.00 off coupons for the mlp carosel playset (that was also part of the day of the day Bogo sale) hmm- I didn’t buy any ponies.
I loaded up on MLP today! They took ALL my BOGO’s and my $5 off Q’s! I spent $9.99 on over $62 of MLP (my daughter is set for a while!). I talked with the manager and he said I could use all of them, no big deal! sorry ya’ll had a bad experience.
WOW My Toys-R-Us store took all my coupons!!!! I got 22 MLP and only had $4.34 OOP. I have 4 little Granddaughters, I am set for a year for birthdays. Thanks for steering us to this great deal.
I’m glad some of you “loaded” up….there were no little ponies left for my daughter once we got there…I was planning to get her two ( using the bogo)…..
Oh well…she was pretty dissipointed..I asked the customer service lady if they had anymore and she was so apologetic saying a couple of women had come in with like 10 coupons a piece buying up all the little individual ones….and that they were going to start putting limits on things like this in the future.
It wouldn’t have been so bad but we drove 30 miles to the nearest TRU just for this deal. We ended up buying Alice in Wonderland DVD but of course no coupons on that. I did get some good deals on the games with some coupons and I get rebates..so that helped me feel better.
I called my local one (G’ville, FL) and they said they wouldn’t take the manu Q’s either. I am so frustrated that all of the stores seem to do things differently. I decided not to get any of the MLP’s even at B1G1. I think I might call corporate tomorrow and ask why their policies are so up in the air.
I got the very last 2 at my store. They took the q no prob. I was hoping to get a few more, but I also did the Chuck talking truck deal for my little boy’s upcoming b-day so I wasn’t disappointed with the trip. Finally used my $5 gc for being a facebook fan
My husband signed up for Facebook Fan–or I signed him up, and he says he never got his $5 gift card….how did others get one? thru email or on their Facebook page?? I am not on Facebook.
I know this subject should be done and over with, but I called corporate and talked to Brenda today, and this is what they said. They said it is there policy NOT to accept any other coupons (including manu Q’s) when their stores are running any type of sale. I explained that there were obviously stores that were not following that rule, and they said they were doing an internal investigation on that. I also asked why that was their policy considering the manufactor gives them credit, and the only answer I got from it was “that’s just the way our policy is written”.
So, for those of you who scrored the MLP’s, although I’m jealous, I must say you got a good deal. I just want them to be more fair across the board in the future.
