Pillsbury Honey Butter Biscuit Giveaway
December 15, 2009
My days are completely filled…I feel like I am in constant motion! Whoever says being a stay at home mom is easy needs to come live my life for a week–they wouldn’t sing the same tune after a week in my shoes
I do get things done thanks to a few shortcuts here and there. I am not a morning person but on Tuesday and Thursday mornings I have to get up and get my 3 year old to preschool by 9 am. Yes, I know some of you are laughing at me…but to accomplish that task means I have to be up at the crack of dawn to get everything ready and still make the 30 minute drive to the school. I want to make sure that the boys have breakfast first but I don’t always want to throw a bowl of cereal in front of them. This morning I decided to bake up a batch of Pillsbury Honey Butter Biscuits! I popped them in the oven and by the time I got the boys up and moving they were done! A little fruit, some jelly and a cup of milk to go with the biscuits and the boys had a great little breakfast! I was able to grab one and bring it with me as I got ready. These biscuits were so good –flaky and just a bit sweet. So while I don’t always have time to pull out the rolling pin and bake up some biscuits –I will happily pop open a can of Pillsbury biscuits any time. They are quick and delicious–a hearty meal to help you get a great start to the day!!
MyBlogSpark and Pillsbury want one of my readers to get the opportunity to try out these yummy biscuits too! They have offered to send one of you a Pillsbury Grands Honey Butter Biscuits prize pack!! The prize pack will consist of two coupons for free cans of Honey Butter Biscuits along with a butter dish and knife.

Whenever I have time, it’s a big breakfast for us – bacon, eggs, the works!
I love making smoothies for breakfast! A favorite: frozen bananas (I keep some in a freezer bag, better’n ice!), frozen or fresh strawberries, a big handful of fresh spinach leaves, a cup or two of OJ..blend it up and breakfast is served! You can thicken it and add a little more protein with a cup or so of plain or, really, any yogurt on hand.
At my house on school days, it’s Quaker instant oatmeal, cereal, or egg beaters. On weekends, it’s a larger breakfast with chocolate chip pancakes, strawberries, and scrambled eggs.
