“Walgreens has a deal going on where you buy the Olay Quench Lotion for $7.99, you get the Olay in shower body lotion for free ($4.99 value). There was a coupon in this past weekend’s P&G insert for when you buy any Olay body wash, you get the quench lotion for free.
So for purchasing the olay body wash which is on sale this week for $2.99, you get a $7.99 lotion and $4.99 lotion for free.”
You guys know I have to write everything out in match up form to see it

There was also a $1 Q for the bodywash. I paid $1.99 + tax for all 3 items! I think the Q I used expired today but there may be others out there!
Hey, tried this deal this morning. It didn’t work. The cashier said that you had to buy the bigger body wash for 7.99, even though the coupon clearly stated any body wash. Don’t know what was the problem but just gave up and didn’t buy any.
This deal would not work and the assistant mgr tried everything he could think of to help. I read on another site that it is not working for many others as well. The only way the manager could make it work was if I purchased the largest body wash, which I did. I hope others are successful.
I did this deal today! I didn’t have a $1/1 Q so I paid 2.99 but that’s still a steal. I have been wanting to try the inshower body lotion. On Amy’s post, I say the clerk was full of it. The coupon clearly stated NO specific size or type. The clerk was talking out of their keester. I would have politely asked a manager to step in and review. Also, I have found making friends with the beauty counter clerk helps. They get “credit” for all the beauty transactions they log, so they are usually more than happy to help. My only regret on this deal is that I didn’t have more of the free lotion/body wash coupon!

If you have problems using the coupons… just have them ring up the $7.99 lotion and the $2.99 body wash, and then give them the coupon. Then have them scan the in shower lotion and it will take it off. mine beeped at 1st when i tried to do all 3 at once.
The cosmetics counter person and the store manager could not make this deal work for me and they tried many variations. I had the same issue as Amy (above) and had to buy the bigger lotion.
I did this deal this morning. It took the clerk a few minutes, but it worked. I just love a good deal and this was a great one!

I had to buy 2 of the 2.99 body wash to get it to work…but i thought is was still a good deal..all 4 were still cheaper than buying just the 7.99 lotion…
Where can I find the manufactures Q for the body wash? I think that I will get this deal this afternoon.

This deal costed me 7.99. the register would only take off the 3.99 when my coupon was entered.

I just tried to use the same deal, but the cashier lady was adamant that you had to get the big Quench body wash for 7.99 to get everything. So I got home and called Olay to double check about the coupon stipulations. The Olay rep said that it doesn’t matter what kind of body wash you buy, however the lotion has to be the same size or same/lower price than the price of the body wash purchased. So, you guys that got your Walgreens to accept the 2.99 wash got really lucky!!
I just did this too and it took off $2.99 and $3.99… I called when I left because I thought it would be an extra $9 cheaper and they said I had to come back up there and dispute it… ugh… back to the store in a little bit I go…
its pictured the big bottle, not the small bottle? and theres no max limit pricing on the coupon so they can’t say its for the small bottle.

The cashier and the manager tried to make it work, but it just would not take the coupon.
Walgreens registers seem to be very picky. It has to do with the amount of tax you should pay. For example: Say you have enough RR and Qs that you would only have to pay tax. Say your tax is $0.60 (all that you would have to pay), but with a little overage from a few things, it comes down to $.45. If you are paying only $.45, you are not paying the complete tax, and the register won’t “allow” the last coupon. Some cashiers will “adjust” the Q, meaning they will take off $.75 instead of $1.00, or something like that, but some won’t. Hope that helps.
